A straightforward process

How it works

  1. Identify potential cases

The host office identifies patients who may benefit from in-office surgical treatment or IV moderate sedation.

  2. Review and plan

Signature Surgical reviews the case, confirms clinical suitability, and coordinates the treatment plan and surgical session with the host practice.

  3. Surgery in your office

Accepted cases are treated in the host dental office, allowing the practice to maintain the ongoing patient relationship and restorative care.

Frequently asked questions

The written agreement assigns clinical handoffs, routine follow-up, urgent communication, and complication responsibilities. Patients receive clear instructions identifying whom to contact and when.

Billing and provider compensation are defined in a written services agreement and fee schedule. No payment is made for patient referrals.

Every case is reviewed for clinical and setting suitability. Sedation candidacy depends on the patient's health, airway, medications, procedure, fasting and escort compliance, staffing, permits, and provider judgment.

Not through the public website. Contracted offices receive a defined workflow for securely transmitting records and case information. The public inquiry form must not contain protected health information.

Cadence depends on case demand, geography, practice readiness, reserved-time commitments, and provider availability.
